Go Frenchies!

My favorite stylish country, France, has decided to push a bill through French Parlement and Senate that will ban the promoting of extreme thin-ness in public. This includes magazines, websites, TV shows, celebrities, ect.

Hell yes. It's about time. It's illegal to promote crack cocaine in public, so why the hell isn't promoting anorexia illegal? Both things are addictive, and can kill you. I always knew I loved the French.

According to MSNBC, Didier Grumbach, the President of the French Federation of Couture:

“Never will we accept in our profession that a judge decides if a young girl is skinny or not skinny,” he said. “That doesn’t exist in the world, and it will certainly not exist in France.”

Whatevs Didier. Odds are you've never felt pressure to lose weight.

Vive Les Francais and their anti-ano law.

Drag Love

So, in my analphylactic allergy induced stupor I watched this movie again for the first time in ages. I got all warm and fuzzy just WATCHING Patrick, John and Wesley drag it up onscreen.

Marimekko For H&M

Finnish textile design house Marimekko is coming to an H&M near you. It's not a full-on collabo, it's more of a tribute by H&M to the legendary institution.

Marimekko became tots major in the US after Jackie O. bought some stuff from them to wear during the 1960 presidential campaign.

Alien Best Friends.

"Best friendzzzz best friendzzzz are weeeeeee"

So, word on Dlisted is that Mistress Tommy doesn't like the fact that Katie and Posh are friends. Apparently, he blames Posh for Katie's extreme weight loss. She has been following Posh's 900 calorie a day eating plan to keep her weight down to ano-standards. Gross.

I'm pretty sure I eat twice that in a day. At least. No wonder they both look haggard as sin. This photo of Katie makes her look like she belongs on "Designing Women" circa 1990. Posh always looks frightening, so I'm used to it.

Please eat girls, if you die, who will I make fun of? Well, there's always Wonks.
