KLS Cosmetics: Gloss Yourself In Fabulousity.

We know I love cosmetics, especially lip gloss. We also know I love Kimora Lee Simmons because she is glamour incarnate.

I cannot believe I did not know she started her own cosmetics line. I feel sooooo behind. I love the glosses shown above. They are sparkly and glamorous.

Viva Fabulousity! Click the title of this post to view the cosmetics on the KLS website.

M.A.C. Dazzleglass Completes Me

While perusing the M.A.C. display in Boca Raton this past week, I came across Dazzleglass, a new product by M.A.C.. It's this super glossy gloss with big pieces of sparkly glitter in it.

Best of all, it's not sticky or goopy, both of which are heinous crimes against lip gloss. Unforch, I didn't purchase any because I wanted to buy some of the limited edition Heatherette loose pigments. Which are also amazing by the way.

Next shopping trip I'll have to get some. Click the title of this post to view it on the M.A.C website.

New Makeup Brush From NARS

I'm a sucker for two things. Pretty packaging and makeup tools. NARS gives me both. There's just something about that sleek black case and luxe feel of NARS products that drives me crazy.

This week, NARS introduced the Botan Brush, a rounded Kabuki brush for applying powder makeup, buffing and blending. It's made of goat hair, which is known for it's softness and strength (hello cashmere!).

I love my kabuki brushes, but on my next Sephora trip I will definitely check this out.

Amazing Concealer.

I was in SoFl this week for a job interview. Cross your fingers. Anyway, I went to this totally amazing mall that was like, chock full of couture. Love Boca Raton.

I was in the makeup area at Macy's with my girl Sarah and we were discussing concealers with the Estee Lauder lady. I was suffering from major makeup meltdown due to the heat, and I was persuaded to try their Double Wear concealer, which stays on for FIFTEEN HOURS.

I bought it, and IT IS AMAZING. It does NOT melt off, and we all know I'm a sweaty betty. if that's TMI, to bad. Next time, I'll say "earmuffs".

If you're looking for a concealer that performs like a mother and doesn't melt off, check this out. It retails for only $19.50, and is so worth it. Click the title of this post to view.

Now that she's got her own shop and is a entrepreneurial woman of the world Kat Von D has decided to launch her own makeup line, available exclusively through Sephora. The colors are totally gorgeous and we all know I'm a sucker for pretty packaging. Oh and as a bonus, she also designed a line of makeup brushes.

Have An Orgasm.

On your face. With makeup.

God, you dirty birds.

Sorry I've been so silent. I've missed you all. I'm now fully recovered from the black death that infected me, and to prove my love to you, I have brought you a nice little tidbit.

NARS has released a limited edition set available at Sephora of ORGASM Lip Gloss and Nail Polish. Quel Presh Idee. That's Franglais for " What a Presh Idea." I have ORGASM blush, and I can see why this color is such a cult classic. Totally flattering, no matter what your skin tone is.

Makeup Brush Glamour

Everyone who knows me understands my obsession with makeup application implements.

Those lovelies at Sephora have come out with a brand new brush set that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning brush lovers.

The set includes:

"A Fan Brush, Blush Brush, Powder Brush, Concealer Brush, Contour Brush, Eyeshadow Brush, Small Eyeshadow Brush, Dual-Sided Brow Brush and Lash Comb, Angled Brow/Liner Brush, and a Lip Brush."

Annnnd as if that we're enough, the brushes are PINK. Presh.

Get all this at your local Sephora, or online for a mere $72.00. A steal when you consider it's worth $150.00. Plus, I can vouch for the quality. I have had the same five Sephora brushes for the past five years and they still work just as well as they did when I first bought them. So worth the money.

Look Good In High Def.

Alas with new technology comes new beauty worries.

The peeps at Make Up For Ever have invented a whole lovely line of products that are designed to keep you looking fresh, even in HD. High definition cameras are becoming standard and the scary part is, those bitches can see six times better than the human eye. Holy pores.

This new translucent powder is designed to reflect light and keep your skin looking flawless, even if you're not on camera.

Find it for $30.00, only at Sephora.

Chola Glamour

We all know I love chola makeup. I was probs a chola in my past life. I totally kept a razor in my hair.

I wanted to share with all you bitches my favorite way to re-create a more daytime appropriate chola-esque lip. It's tres easy.

First, you need a nude lipliner with a brownish-spice undertone. I have the lipliner above in "Spice" from ULTA. It is creamy and glides on, and is only $6.50. Line your lips, filling in your lip just a tad. Then top with a sparkly peachy-nude lipgloss, and blend in the liner just a tad.

Voila! Chola lips that are work/school appropriate!

I <3 Bare Minerals

Bare Minerals is amazing. I don't currently use it, but I did in the past and you could have total breakout face and you wouldn't be able to tell with Bare Minerals.

Well, Bare Minerals has come out with "Genuine Jade", a gorge face and body powder that illuminates your skin and makes you glow like a fiend.

Additionally, according to our friends at Beauty and the Blog the powder is infused with actual jade particles, which are said to bring good luck to the wearer.
I'm in.

Tarte Cheek Stain

I wore this gel blush for about three years, and I love it. I recently started wearing another cream blush, but I would definitely but this again.

Tarte Flush is a great smooth gel blush that comes in a bunch of shades. It's sheer and isn't hard to apply. Which is good because it's not intimidating to makeup beginners.

Click the title of this post to view on Sephora's site. It retails for $28.00

Travel Glamour

As you know if you read my blog, I am going on a trip with my my madre to visit the grams in AZ this upcoming Saturday. Planes are never friendly to my makeup, I always end up greasy and stuff after a flight. Considering that you can't take any makeup/lipgloss on a plane that's larger than 3 oz, this mini-kit from Benefit is perfect for in flight touchups.

It's called "Justine Case" and it includes "Some Kind of Gorgeous", "Benetint", "California Kissin' ", and "Eyecon". Basically all the things you need to look fabulous. I love Benefit products and I bet this would be a great buy!!
